Shaun and Missy had another kid. Yay!

And of course it's a boy...

We're all snowed in right now. Not really. But school was cancelled anyway.

Pansies.

Two days in a row! Amazing!

Current Song: Free Fallin'
Current Mood: Relieved

The second time in my life that this song has made me feel very happy and very relieved. So good to hear it this morning on the radio.

Beware the snow avalanches around campus! Snow has been falling off the tops of buildings, threatening to cruch the unwary passersby. Tread quickly, with your lies gazing towards the heavens.

Thanks for the walk last night.

And everyone cheer for Megan for getting a 96 on her Calculus test! Yay little sister!

I'm so proud.

Update! Update! Update!

Current Song: I Can See Clearly Now The Rain Is Gone
Current Mood: Happy, but tired

Okay, so we got snowed in.

A lot.

Number of puzzles completed: three
Number of movies watched: seven (El Dorado, Support Your Local Sheriff!, Army of Darkness, Super Star, Pulp Fiction, Blue Streak, The Music Man)
Number of times my car had to be pushed around: six

Hilarity insued.

So we're back to the daily grind. w00t!

Shaddup.

"I can see clearly now,
The rain is gone,
I can see all
Obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds
That had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright,
Bright, sun-shiny day.

I think I can make it now,
The pain is gone
All of the bad feelings
Have disappeared
Here is the rainbow
I’ve been prayin’ for
It’s gonna be a bright,
Bright, sun-shiny day.

Look all around,
There’s nothin’
But blue skies
Look straight ahead,
Nothin’ but blue skies

I can see clearly now,
The rain is gone,
I can see all
Obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds
That had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright,
Bright, sun-shiny day."

Thanks for helping me get rid of the rain.

I believe I have found the blog of a miss Reena Rexrode. You remember her. My friend from high school with the brilliant soul hidden under a complex intentional image with a myriad of personalities. They all said she was crazy and a slut, but I know the truth.

She's the sane one.

Reena, you're awesome, and I miss you.

Dammit, all of the things I've missed over the last three years...never again. Control this, Sandra Dee.

Clara was sentenced to 48 years in prison. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

In other news, I gave blood today for the first time in four years. My arm is a little sore, but I feel good. Hurray for saving a life.

You should give blood too

Poker tonight, 9:30 EST.

And I'm spent.

Yesterday my oh so lovely team mates quit the contest.

How courteous.

As it is a gargantuan task for three individuals, it is nigh impossible for one individual, namely me.

So it's over.

Disapointing, yes. But all in all, a good life experience.

So I bought a guitar yesterday, from JD. I am going to restring it today, and start getting my playing down so that I might be at a level higher than "inept".

Stephanie rocks my world, and is the coolest person on the face of the planet. Period.

dag, yo

So The Modeling Contest is in full swing now.

What's this thing you call sleep? I am most interested in it.

...

Seriously folks, it's the best. A lot of fun, a great mathematical challenge, and lots of free food.

Did I mention the free food?

To date, I have gotten:
Chocolate Cupcakes from Mary and Eva(27K ROCKS!)
A big bag of cookies and pretzels from Deb and Dr. Droms(though it may be courtesy of the math department...)
A big dinner of AMAZING homemade shells a la Dr. Marrah
A Cheesecake from the Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics(Hell yeah!)

There was also a dinner at Ruby Tuesday's the night the contest opened, but I missed it.
And Dr Marrah's cooking "Cinncinatti Chili" for us tonight, and the Warnes are going to bring in some dinner for us at some point.

Of course, there's also the respect and adoration from the masses, but we mathematicians are used to that by now.

Seriously(said in your best homestar voice)
