Okay, so lately I have been trying to not really reference anything political, as this blog is not the place for it (LSB is). However, this item is so noteworthy, even though it dwells into the political arena a bit that I feel I must talk about it.
North Korea has nuclear weapons.
Why in the name of God have we been ignoring this?
We've been focused on Iraq.
Okay, enough politics. This is depressing.
So, anyone see Duke-UNC last night? Two things of note.
One, I saw Amanda, sister of Dan, on TV at the game. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!
Two, what the hell was UNC doing?? You have the ball with 18 seconds left and you're down by one and you just dribble the clock away? Take a freaking shot! I counted at least two or three times when they had a driving oppurtunity that would ahve led directly to a score or someone being open to get the kickback pass. That was just a bad choice by the UNC ball handler. Poor decision making.
Three (okay so I lied), did you know that the last 133 meetings between these two teams, going back FIFTY years, at least one of them has been ranked EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Wow, now that's a rivalry.
